Sinopec unit signs engineering deal for Central Asia's first large-scale integrated biojet fuel complex
Sinopec Engineering will design Central Asia's first large-scale sustainable aviation fuel complex. This project in Uzbekistan will produce biomass-based SAF and e-SAF. The complex will utilize sorghum, rice husks, and straw as its primary feedstock. Solar power will serve as the main electricity source for the plant. This initiative supports Sinopec's low-carbon energy goals and Uzbekistan's aviation hub ambitions.
Bijay Kumar Mohanty assumes additional charge as CMD, IREDA
India's state owned Indian Renewable Energy Devlopment Agency (IREDA) on Wednesday, says its director of Finance, Bijay Kumar Mohanty who has assumed additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director on July 1. He's a fellow member at of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and has 27 years of experience in the Indian power sector, where he worked with the Central Electricity Supply Company of Odisha Ltd (CESCO) and Grid Corporation of Odisha Ltd (GRIDCO).
RITES shares rocket 16% on Rs 175 crore consultancy order from Ambedkar University
RITES shares surged 16% after securing a Rs 175 crore project management consultancy order from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University for campus infrastructure development.
