Ceigall India announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ceigall Morena Solar BESS Park, has executed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Rewa Ultra Mega Solar for a 220 MW solar-BESS project at Morena Solar Park in Morena, Madhya Pradesh.
Shakti Pumps ends higher after investing Rs 10-cr in solar manufacturing subsidiary
Shakti Pumps (India) ralied 6.01% to end at Rs 537.50 after the company announced an investment of Rs 10 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Shakti Energy Solutions (SESL) to establish solar cell and module manufacturing plant in Madhya Pradesh.
Provigil Surveillance receives LoA from South Western Railway
The project pertains to the Provision of CCTV at 75 Non-Interlocked Manned Level Crossing Gates over Hubli Division. The scope of work includes supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems, networking and telecom infrastructure, integration of monitoring systems, power backup arrangements, solar power systems, computer vision-based gate monitoring solutions and other ancillary infrastructure required for the project.
Tracker-mounted solar projects give higher output than fixed-tilt systems: Study
A study by SgurrEnergy and Nextpower found that single-axis solar tracker systems in India generate 15–23% more energy than fixed-tilt installations and deliver higher efficiency across key performance metrics. The analysis, based on projects in Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, showed trackers also improve capacity utilisation and performance ratios while requiring 14–18% lower installed capacity to achieve similar output.
