Dr Reddy’s launches oral semaglutide in India
Dr Reddys Laboratories has launched its oral semaglutide biosimilar for type 2 diabetes in India. The drug, Obeda, is available in three tablet strengths for daily use. This launch expands access to advanced diabetes care. Dr Reddys is the second Indian company to introduce oral semaglutide domestically. Closing Bell: Nifty above 23,100, Sensex gain 509 pts; IT, metal, realty shine
Biggest Nifty gainers were Wipro, Hindalco Industries, HCL Technologies, TCS, Infosys, while losers included Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Adani Enterprises, Interglobe Aviatoion, Apollo Hospitals, Adani Ports. Except Consumer Durables and PSU Bank, all other sectoral indices ended in the green with Information Technology rose 2.5%, Metal index gained 1.5%, Realty index up 1.7% and Media index jumped 1%. The Nifty midcap index was up 0.3 percent, while smallcap index ended flat.
Taking Stock: Markets rebound; Nifty reclaims 24,150, Sensex jumps 600 pts
Among the top gainers on the index were Maruti Suzuki India, Coal India, Tech Mahindra, ITC Limited, and Reliance Industries. On the downside, InterGlobe Aviation, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, NTPC, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finserv were among the key laggards.

Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices up more than 2 percent each.
