The public issue will be entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS), with no fresh equity issuance, as existing shareholders SBI and Amundi India Holding pare their stakes. The IPO is expected to hit the market next month and will mark the listing of one of the country's most dominant mutual fund players. With average assets under management of nearly ₹12.5 lakh crore as of December 2025, SBI Mutual Fund is a key player in India's growing investment ecosystem. The listing will place it alongside other listed AMCs such as HDFC AMC, Nippon Life India AMC, ICICI Prudential AMC, UTI AMC and Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC.
