Speaking at the launch of the Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) tolling system at the Mundka–Bakkarwala Toll Plaza, Delhi, days after the country's first MLFF system was launched at the Chorayasi toll plaza on the Surat–Bharuch section of NH-48 in Gujarat, road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday said the multi-lane free flow (MLFF) barrier-less tolling system will lead to Rs 295 crore of fuel saving per year and reduction of 81,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emission besides reduction in travel time and enhancement of logistics efficiency.
