Kirloskar Oil Engines wins 192 MW power order for AI data centre
Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) has won a 192 MW power systems order from HyperNext to support a large AI-enabled data centre project in India. The deployment includes 96 units of its Optiprime Dual Core systems, which will provide backup power for hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure. The project is aimed at building resilient, energy-efficient digital infrastructure to meet rising demand from artificial intelligence and cloud computing workloads.
