Bajaj Finserv reports steady February premiums from general, life insurance arms
Bajaj Finserv said its insurance subsidiaries reported steady premium collections in February, with Bajaj General Insurance underwriting ₹1,094 crore and Bajaj Life Insurance reporting total premiums of ₹1,281 crore.
Life insurers sharpen focus on annuity and pension products
The change comes with rising longevity, limited social security coverage and growing awareness around the need for stable post-retirement income. Pension and annuity segments together consist of 18.87% of the total life insurance industry, as of March 2025. This segment is growing faster than the industry for most insurance companies.

Among the Nifty constituents, Shriram Finance, L&T, InterGlobe Aviation, Bajaj Finance and Titan Company emerged as the top gainers. On the other hand, Nestle India, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer and SBI Life Insurance ended as the major laggards.
