SEDEMAC Mechatronics shares debuted strongly on March 11, listing at ₹1,535 on NSE, a 13.54% premium. The IPO was subscribed 2.68 times, raising ₹1,087.45 crore. The company focuses on control electronics and innovative motor control technologies for automotive applications.

The Voltas stock is also trading at an 8% premium to LG Electronics India, a valuation BofA finds difficult to justify.

On the sectoral front, oil & gas, PSU Bank, Infra, Consumer Durables, and Private Bank shed between 0.4-2%, while metal, power, pharma added 0.5-1%. L&T, Interglobe Aviation, HDFC Bank, Shriram Finance, Jio Financial are among biggest losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Dr Reddy's Labs, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Electronics, ONGC. Nifty Midcap and Smallcap ended on a flat note.

Among sectors, except FMCG ( down 0.7%) and IT (down 1%), all other indices ended in the green with capital goods, telecom, auto, infra, media, metal, realty, private bank up 1-2 percent.
