Govt health spending triples to Rs 3.85 lakh crore in 2022-23: National Health Accounts

This increased public investment has led to a substantial drop in household out-of-pocket expenses for treatment. The share of government health spending in GDP has also risen. This indicates a positive shift towards more affordable and accessible healthcare for all citizens.
