Taking Stock: Markets extend losses; Nifty slips below 24,200, Sensex declines 852 pts
Biggest Nifty losers were Trent, M&M, Shriram Finance, SBI Life Insurance, Tech Mahindra, while gainers included Dr Reddy's Labs, Cipla, Jio Financial, Adani Enterprises, Apollo Hospitals.
Closing Bell: Sensex crashes 1,123 pts, Nifty below 24,500 as US-Iran tensions intensify
Except IT, all other sectoral indices ended in the red, with Infra, PSU Bank, Realty, Media, Oil & gas, Auto, Metal down 2-4%. Nifty Midcap and smallcap indices down 2% each. Tata Steel, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, SBI Life Insurance, L&T, JSW Steel were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Coal India, Bharti Airtel, Infosys, Tech Mahindra.

Among the Nifty constituents, Shriram Finance, L&T, InterGlobe Aviation, Bajaj Finance and Titan Company emerged as the top gainers. On the other hand, Nestle India, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer and SBI Life Insurance ended as the major laggards.
