Advent gets CCI nod to pick up 14.3% stake in Aditya Birla Housing Finance
The Competition Commission of India has approved Advent International's proposal to acquire a 14.3% stake in Aditya Birla Housing Finance. This move involves a significant capital infusion into the housing finance subsidiary. The CCI also cleared other acquisitions, including Citrus Investment LLC's increased shareholding in Hitachi Construction Machinery and Indus Infra Trust's acquisition of KNR SPVs.
Birla Estates garners sales of Rs 1,600 cr from Birla Arika Phase 2 project
Birla Estates, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aditya Birla Real Estate (ABREL), has achieved bookings exceeding Rs 1,600 crore for its luxury project, Birla Arika Phase 2 in Sector 31, Gurugram. Nearly 97% of the residences-152 of 156 units-were sold within a month of launch, underlining strong buyer confidence in the brand's luxury developments in Gurugram.

Shares of Aditya Birla Capital Ltd ended at ₹333.20, up by ₹8.85, or 2.73%, on the BSE.

Nifty midcap index rose 1 percent, while smallcap index added 0.65 percent. Eternal, Tata Steel, M&M, HDFC Life and Bharat Electronics were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Wipro, Tata Consumer, Infosys, Cipla, ITC. Among sectors, except FMCG ( down 0.7%) and IT (down 1%), all other indices ended in the green with capital goods, telecom, auto, infra, media, metal, realty, private bank up 1-2 percent.
