L&T stock among top Nifty gainers, gains over 9% in 3 days; JPMorgan raises target price on growth outlook
JPMorgan said L&T had delivered strong execution under its Lakshya-26 strategy for the 2021-2026 period. It added that L&T's new Lakshya-31 plan for FY27-FY31 targets 10-12 percent CAGR growth in order inflows, 12-15 percent revenue CAGR and consolidated RoE of 16-17 percent.

Interglobe Aviation, Max Healthcare, Power Grid Corp, Wipro, Eternal were among biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank. All the sectoral indices ended in the green with Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Power, Infra, Media, Realty, Consumer Durables, IT rise 2% each. Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices up more than 2 percent each.

The Nifty Auto index ended 3.2 percent lower, the steepest fall among sectoral indices, as rising energy costs and supply-chain concerns weighed on stocks. High crude oil prices can add to fuel cost pressures for customers, while shortage of gas could disrupt component production.

Among sectors IT index up 4%, while auto, metal, Consumer Durables, realty up 0.5% each. However, pharma, healthcare, power, media, energy down 0.5-1%.
