Taking Stock: Nifty above 23,600, Sensex gains 1,695 pts on Middle East peace hopes
Among the Nifty constituents, Shriram Finance, L&T, InterGlobe Aviation, Bajaj Finance and Titan Company emerged as the top gainers. On the other hand, Nestle India, ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer and SBI Life Insurance ended as the major laggards.

Closing Bell: Sensex, Nifty end flat amid volatility; pharma, oil & gas gain, media falls
Bharat Electronics, Adani Ports, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, Maruti Suzuki were among major gainers on the Sensex, while losers were Power Grid Corporation, Trent, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and Eternal. Among sectors, auto, pharma, oil & gas, PSU Bank telecom, metal added 0.4-1%, while media index shed 0.7%. Nifty Midcap index rose 0.6%, while smallcap index ended flat.

Momentum Stocks: NOCIL, EPack Durables, Spacenet Enterprises gain up to 13% on sheer momentum
Kirloskar Oil, Aegis Logistics, New India Assurance, GNFC, HFCL, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Belrise Industries, AIA Engineering, Aditya Birla Capital, Sona BLW, Syrma SGS, among others hit 52-week high.

Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices extended the opening gains and trading around 23950. Except metal, all other sectoral indices are trading in the green with auto, FMCG, media up 1-1.5%. Nifty Midcap index trade flat and Smallcap index up 0.4%. Titan Company, M&M, Eternal, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, Coal India, Tech Mahindra, Interglobe Aviation.

Biggest Nifty losers were L&T, Interglobe Aviation, Adani Ports, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Adani Enterprises, while gainers included Bharat Electronics, Sun Pharma, ONGC, Dr Reddy's Labs and Hindalco. Except metals, all other sectoral indices ended lower with Auto, Consumer Durables, Oil & Gas down 2 percent each. The Nifty midcap and smallcap indices fell 1.5 percent each.
