Taking Stock: Nifty above 24,050, Sensex rises 347 pts as rally enters fourth straight day
More than 120 stocks touched their 52-week high on the BSE, including Data Patterns, Yes Bank, KEI Industries, Kirloskar Oil, Nuvama Wealth, Polycab, CG Power, Aegis Logistics, Himadri Speciality, IFCI, Varun Beverages, JK Bank, Pidilite Industries, Federal Bank, Netweb, Bandhan Bank, among others.
Axis MF, SBI MF buy 2.1% stake in DOMS; HDFC Life Insurance almost exits Finolex Industries
SBI Mutual Fund held 5.88 percent stake in DOMS Industries, and Axis Mutual Fund 3.18 percent, while FILA owned 26.01 percent shares, as of March 2026.
Closing Bell: Day 2 of gains pushes Nifty above 23,550, Sensex up 568 pts led by auto, metal, realty
Nifty midcap index rose 1 percent, while smallcap index added 0.65 percent. Eternal, Tata Steel, M&M, HDFC Life and Bharat Electronics were among top gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Wipro, Tata Consumer, Infosys, Cipla, ITC. Among sectors, except FMCG ( down 0.7%) and IT (down 1%), all other indices ended in the green with capital goods, telecom, auto, infra, media, metal, realty, private bank up 1-2 percent.
