May Auto Sales: TVS Motor posts record monthly sales; EV sales jump 56%
International business was a key contributor to TVS Motor's growth, with total international sales increasing 48.6% to 175,991 units from 118,437 units a year ago. This was the highest-ever monthly sales for the segment.

Mahindra & Mahindra's farm equipment division saw strong domestic tractor sales in May. The company sold 47,845 units, marking a significant 23 percent increase compared to the previous year. This growth was fueled by successful Rabi harvesting and favorable farmer conditions. Exports also contributed positively, with 1,850 tractors sold, showing a 7 percent rise. Overall tractor sales reached 49,695 units.
