More than 200 stocks touched their 52-week high on the BSE, including Kirloskar Oil, Aegis Logistics, New India Assurance, GNFC, HFCL, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Belrise Industries, AIA Engineering, Aditya Birla Capital, Sona BLW, Syrma SGS, Leela Palaces, Cemindia Projects, RBL Bank, Bharat Forge, among others.
Taking Stock: Markets snap 2-day fall; Sensex up 395 pts, Nifty above 23,200
Biggest Nifty gainers were Interglobe Aviation, Jio Financial, Eicher Motors, SBI, Apollo Hospitals, while losers included ONGC, Titan Company, NTPC, Power Grid Corp and Tech Mahindra.

Indian markets staged a sharp recovery from intraday lows, with the Sensex recovering nearly 700 points and the Nifty clawing back over 200 points. Despite the rebound, IT stocks remained under pressure, while auto and PSU banks outperformed. Investors continued to track rising oil prices, with Brent crude nearing the $100 per barrel mark. Taking Stock: Nifty below 24,200, Sensex slips 516 pts amid global tensions; IT stocks shine
Among sectors, except IT, Healthcare, Consumer Durables and FMCG, all other indices ended in the red with PSU Bank index slipped 3%, Oil & Gas index shed 1%, while Private Bank, Metal, Energy, Power, Realty down 0.5% each.
Closing Bell: Nifty crosses 24,200, Sensex surges 1,264 pts on renewed hopes of US-Iran peace talks
Interglobe Aviation, Max Healthcare, Power Grid Corp, Wipro, Eternal were among biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank. All the sectoral indices ended in the green with Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Power, Infra, Media, Realty, Consumer Durables, IT rise 2% each. Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices up more than 2 percent each.
