Rajputana Stainless sets price band for ₹255 crore IPO opening March 9
Rajputana Stainless Ltd on Monday fixed a price band of Rs116-122per share for its upcoming Rs 255 crore initial public offering (IPO). The company's maiden public offering will open on March 9 and conclude on March 11, according to its statement. The IPO is a combination of a fresh issuance of up to 1.46crore equity shares and an offer-for-sale of up to 62.5 lakh shares by promoter Shankarlal Deepchand Mehta. This aggregates the total fund raising to Rs 255 crore at the higher end of the price band. The company will use the proceeds from the fresh issue to set up a manufacturing facility at Panchmahal district, Gujarat, expand its product portfolio, repay debt, and cover general corporate purposes. Incorporated in 1991 as Rajputana Steel Castings, the company transitioned into Rajputana Stainless in 2007 after a strategic restructuring. India's core sector grows at 4% in Jan-26, Steel and Cement production surges
The combined Index of Eight Core Industries (ICI) increased by 4.0 per cent (provisional) in January, 2026 as compared to the Index in January, 2025. Growth has eased from a revised 4.7% in December. The production of Cement, Steel, Electricity, Fertilizer and Coal recorded positive growth in January, 2026. The Eight Core Industries comprise 40.27 percent of the weight of items included in the Index of Industrial Production (IIP). The final growth rate of Index of Eight Core Industries for December 2025 was observed at 4.7 per cent. The cumulative growth rate of ICI during April to January, 2025-26 is 2.8 per cent (provisional) as compared to the corresponding period of last year.

Reliance, ITC, Tata Steel drive Nifty past 25,800; Sensex climbs 283 points
Broader markets outperformed the benchmarks. The Midcap Index climbed 302 points to 60,183. The Nifty Bank index gained 377 points to end at 61,551.
