Sensex Today | Stock Market LIVE Updates: Indian benchmark indices extended the opening gains and trading around 23950. Except metal, all other sectoral indices are trading in the green with auto, FMCG, media up 1-1.5%. Nifty Midcap index trade flat and Smallcap index up 0.4%. Titan Company, M&M, Eternal, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Auto were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, Coal India, Tech Mahindra, Interglobe Aviation.

IndiGo among top Nifty losers; Asian Paints, IOCL, Apollo Tyres slump as crude surge hits paints, tyre stocks
The sharp fall in crude-sensitive counters comes as oil prices surged amid the widening conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran. Paint companies' stocks were among the worst affected, while Tyre makers and OMCs were also weak. The selling pressure extended to aviation stocks as well.

BPCL, HPCL shares jump over 4%; Asian Paints, IndiGo rally as crude falls below $95, lifts oil-sensitive stocks
Stocks across oil marketing companies (OMCs), aviation, paint and tyre segments were trading firmly higher, as Brent crude slipped below the $95 per barrel mark after declining for a second straight session.

Except metals, all other sectoral indices ended lower with Auto, Consumer Durables, Oil & Gas down 2 percent each. The Nifty midcap and smallcap indices fell 1.5 percent each.

On the sectoral front, oil & gas, PSU Bank, Infra, Consumer Durables, and Private Bank shed between 0.4-2%, while metal, power, pharma added 0.5-1%. L&T, Interglobe Aviation, HDFC Bank, Shriram Finance, Jio Financial are among biggest losers on the Nifty, while gainers included Dr Reddy's Labs, Hindalco, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Electronics, ONGC. Nifty Midcap and Smallcap ended on a flat note.
