Hyundai's Chennai plant resumes operations after fire, targets full recovery by June 22
Hyundai Motor India's Chennai plant is recovering after a fire at a supplier's facility. Production at Chennai Plant 1 was affected, but other facilities continued operations. The company sourced parts from alternative locations. Chennai Plant 1 is expected to return to normal production by June 15. Full manufacturing operations should be restored by June 22.
